The Bizindamowin (learning by listening) exhibition, inspired by the teachings of the medicine wheel and spoken tradition showcased the voices and story of 50 indigenous artists from all across Canada.
As part of its Truth and Reconciliation Action Plan, KPMG hosted a unique reception to celebrate the heritage, culture and achievements of Canada's First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

Thanks to curator Sylvia Dreaver, Mistawasis First Nation
& MASSIVart, I had the honor of design and assist our artists/designers as on of the Art Director of this event showcasing the talents, stories and practices of Canadian contemporary indigenous artists.

The scenography of the exhibition was created, designed and organized with an egalitarian circulation notion, creating a grounded and relatable flow across the space. In addition to the main room, there was a selection of artists' illustrations in a printing workshop. There was also an immersive room with a new media installation by Casey Koyczan, offering participants a multi-sensory experience.

I had the pleasure to collaborate and assist Mariah Measwasige as she created the brand image for the event, interpreting the medicine wheel from a particularly modern angle.  The exhibition's graphic identity and color palette are inspired by indigenous structures and iconography, assuring a coherent, representative experience. Through a collaborative approach and the support of the cultural consultants, I produced and assure the visual quality of the exhibition graphic file designs, didactics, catalog, and more
